The Paris Wife - Paula McLain The book made me so angry at times. Ernest was such an ass and got more so as he became more successful. Hadley was the perfect match for him because she didn't want to be like her mother and became overly dependent and submissive to him. And Pauline committed the ultimate betrayal in stealing her friends husband. She was so blatent about it. I was glad Hadley found love after all and sorry to say that I'm glad Ernest was miserable for the rest of his life and was never able to find peace. I'm only sorry he had to hurt so many people along the way.
