Strange Fits of Passion - Anita Shreve This book was intensely emotional. I hated Willis for his male ego. I hated Harrold for his deep anger. I connected with Maureen/Mary in her hope that she could repair/salvage the relationship. I loved Jack for his gentle nature.

Anita did such a fantastic job of making the characters seem alive and real. I had a hard time continuing to read at some points it was so real. I loved it, I hated it, I couldn't put it down.
