The Book Thief - Trudy White, Markus Zusak I really didn't think I would like this book. I was so wrong. In fact, it is quite possibly one of my favorite books.

It was a beautiful story of resiliance and survival. Liesel won my heart at the outset. She had strength and goodness in spite of all she endured. I enjoyed how she developed throughout the book.

I also found it interesting that the story was narrated by death. It was a unique point of view and added to the charm of the story.

I would recommend this book. It earned all 5 stars.
